Julia Łozowska represents a heart of the new generation of classical pianists – Julian Cochran Foundation

Internationally active, she sees her mission in making impact on how classical music is being perceived. She invites her audience to experience and feel music in their own individual, unique way and guides them through the process of listening to classical music. 

Julia performed in Salle Cortot and Polish Library in Paris, NOSPR, at Expo 2020 in Dubai, Penderecki Centre 
in Lusławice, Lutosławski Polish Radio Studio, National Philharmonic, Baltic Philharmonic, Podlasie Philharmonic, Nowa Miodowa Concert Hall, Royal Łazienki, Royal Castle, Presidential Palace, Chopin’s Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola as well as in Germany, Austria, Spain and France.

She also performed with maestro Marek Pijarowski and Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra at the Chopin Festival 
in Antonin as well as in „Quarantine in Hi-Fi” in RDC, „Classical music in Koszyki”, Nights of the Museums, Chopin Museum – “Young Talents” or “Music of our Times” Opening Gala.  

She appears as a guest on „Pro music bona” CD and recorded music for „War Portraits. Women” documental series – episode about Halina Szwarc.

She is the recipient of the „Brigde to the Future” Young Artists Support Fund as well as Individual Artistic
Programme within the „Music Masterclass” Scholarship by Norblin Factory Foundation. 
She received scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Prime Minister of Poland, Jütting Foundation and Sinfonia Varsovia Foundation (Main Prize). 
Julia is also a laureate of a mentoring programme „I’m a Leader” for young women.

She is a laureate of many international competitions including XII International Chopin Competition in Narva, Estonia (1st prize ex aequo), V International Festival „Chopin Laurel” in Veliky Novgorod, Russia (1st prize and special prize), VIII International Chopin Competition in Budapest, Hungary (2nd prize), IV International Piano Competition 
in Ville de Gangy, France (2nd prize), I International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Beijing, China 
(7th prize), VI International Lotar-Schevchenko Competition in Jekaterinburg, Russia (distinction).

She is also a laureate of national piano competitions in Warsaw (Polish Chopin Competition 2023 – 3rd prize),
Konin (1st prize), Konin – Żychlin (1st prize), Toruń (CEA Chamber Competition – Grand Prix), Cracow EPTA (2nd prize) and Stefańscy Competition (1st prize), Żagań (Grand Prix, 1st prize and special prize), Zakopane ATMA Competition (finalist), Jelenia Góra Chopin Competition (2nd prize), Polish Pianism Festival in Słupsk (Stage of the Youth).
She took part in XVIII International Chopin Competition in Warsaw.

The 23-year-old pianist is currently studying with prof. Arie Vardi at the Hanover University of Music, Drama
and Media and with prof. dr hab. Wojciech Świtała at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
She is also a graduate of Frederic Chopin University of Music in the class of prof. dr hab. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.
